The course mainly deals with the management of financial and physical resources. In the financial resource management part candidates will be exposed to basic concepts and characteristics of educational financing and financial management in education. Following the discussion at the general level, the course will refocus to the management of finance at school level. Particularly,issues pertaining to financial management model, the contexts in which management of school finance is carried out and the role of government in financing education will be covered. The school finance management part extends to include topics like education cost, sources of finance for education as well as the components involved in managing school budget. The physical management part of the course will deal with two major areas. The first area is material management and the second deals with the management of physical plants. Covering these contents will help candidates acquire the basic competencies in managing fiancé and physical resources in educational organizations.
