Course Description:
Engine overhauling Examines operational theory of multi-cylinder diesel and gasoline engines and associated components. It develop skills in multi-cylinder engine overhaul, manufacturing and design characteristics of IC engines. Engine overhauling includes a comprehensive study in maintenance and reconditioning of diesel and gasoline engines component parts. it also focus on service procedures which includes cooling system repair, lubrication system repair, intake and exhaust systems repair, engine replacement, engine disassembly, cleaning and measurement, cylinder head reconditioning, block reconditioning, machining operations, troubleshooting the various engine systems, assembly techniques and testing.
