Year I - Semester II

Cotton Science and technology allows students to know and understand ginning technology; the chemistry and physical properties of cotton fibre. In-depth study will be made on the gross and fine structure of cotton fibre from aspects of fibre morphology. The chemistry of cotton cellulose and chemical properties and relevant physical properties of cotton fibre will also be dealt with in the current syllabus.
